African Green Revolution Forum Ghana 2010
We in the AGRF communications team will do our outmost to set up 1-1 interviews with key spokespeople, companies, organizations and participants during the event. We will facilitate the scheduling of these interviews. In order to best accommodate the interviews that you wish to have with the speakers and / or participants, please complete the enclosed interview request form and return it to email@example.com by end of business Tuesday 31st of August.
All interview requests should be made in advance in order to at best schedule them into the speakers program and secure quiet rooms for interviews.
Registration opens Thursday 2nd of September at 07:00 am at the Accra International Conference Center.
There will be a separate desk for media registration. The registration process is quite easy and quick. All media will be accredited with a specific media badge which will give you access to the press center as well as the plenary sessions. We do not deliver badges to hotel rooms for security reasons.
The AGRF is a high level forum that brings together African heads of state, ministers, farmers, private agribusiness firms, financial institutions, NGOs, civil society and scientists to an African-led forum, to help drive investment into key projects to address food security. The forum aims to create transformative change through dialogue between the key stakeholders. We appreciate your collaboration to respect the guidelines for the AGRF and let constructive dialogue happen.

All plenary sessions are open to the media.
There will be consecutive media briefings hosted during the AGRF on Friday 3rd of September in the afternoon, including:
· Yara’s commitment to sustainable agricultural development Africa
· Experts available to discuss breadbasket strategy in Ghana and Mali hosted by AGRA
· Modernization and development of agriculture in Africa through cooperation with export credit agencies: The role of Afreximbank
Please confirm by Tuesday 31st of August which of the media briefings you would like to attend by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
More information about timings of these briefings and locations will be pust up in the press center and shared at registration.
In order to facilitate dialogue between the stakeholders, the networking event on Thursday 2nd of September evening, dinner Friday 3rd of September and the parallel working sessions will be closed off sessions, without access for third parties. However, possible outcomes from these sessions will be shared each day with all participants and media, and at the closing session of the AGRF on Saturday 4th of September.
Please ensure that your accommodation has been confirmed.
You may require a visa to enter Ghana, please check with your travel agent or embassy for requirements.
There will be free shuttles between the hotels and the Accra International Conference Center and their schedule will be shared once you check in to the hotel.
Any questions with regards to necessary vaccinations etc should be addressed to your closest health center where you live.
Press room and multimedia materials
A press room will be set up at the Accra International Conference Center. It will be open from 08:00 until 20:00 from Thursday 2nd of September to Saturday 4th of September.
The press room will be equipped with stationary computers and converters that you can use or plug in your own laptops. There will also be a fax machine and photocopier, as well as technical assistance to help with any practicalities.
The conference center and the press room has wireless internet which will be available for your use.
Fruits, sandwhiches and cakes will be served for lunch in the press center for all accredited journalists.
AGRF has a photographer on site. These pictures will be made available on www.agrforum.com/media for download and also on the desktop computers in the press center.
Please ensure that all photos used are accredited to the AGRF.
