Read the regional update on the World Bank's work in Africa as part of the World Bank's Annual Report 2010. The Bank significantly increased its funding to the region in fiscal 2010. IBRD reached $4.3 billion, up from $0.4 billion in fiscal 2009. IDA commitments were $7.2 billion in support, including $1.7 billion in grants.
